What to upgrade for £100 ?

hi, i wonder if anyone can helpp ?

Here is my current spec:

Amd Athlon 5600+ x2 dual core
Gigabyte M52L-S3P DDR2 am3 (quad) ready
XFX 8600 gt 512mb
2x1gb corsair

Im looking at upgrading my system and have £100 to spend.

What do i get ??
 
8800GT or GTS??

they seem to get a good praise even now should preform better than the 8600

get one off of a popular auction site and have change left

all depends what you do with the machine and this somewhat dictates what aspect of the system you should upgrade
 
Hmmmm, just been looking at the price of ram and you can get 4gb of ddr3 for the same price as ddr2 although i only have a ddr2 board :(. Surely ddr2 prices should be reduced ?

As for the graphics, am i better off streching a little ? What would be above the 4870 ?
 
WHat do you want your PC to do? because we will be able to suggest things that would work with how you want your PC to work, otherwise, i would recomend waiting a little bit and saving up more money =]
