so far my rig consists of
X6800 cpu
Sapphire 3870 512mb gfx
4 gig ddr2-800 ocz gold ram
Gigabyte GA-965p-ds3 mobo
seasonic 700w m12 psu
Vista ultimate 64bit OS
In a month or two i will have around £6-700 to spend upgrading or building a new rig, one of the things I'll be looking for is better graphics performance but i'm also wondering if i would see a significant improvement overall if i built a new rig with one of the newer cpu's? how do they perform compared to the X6800 (haven't gotten round to clocking it yet
) also i usually end up getting caught out and buying new equipment just before the new generation comes out so any ideas when the next generation gfx or cpu's are due?
