Ok I'm starting to get a bit addicted to just buying stuff for my PC and find it rather addicting fitting stuff and seeing it all work :D , so I would like to ask for some advice on what I should look at next, current setup...

Antec300 Case
Z77X-D3H MOBO
Corsair CX600 PSU
i5 3570k/H60 w/c
OCX Agility 3 SSD 240GB
500GB HDD
GTX 470
8 gb Memory Corsair XMS3
2x External HDD that i just use for saving and backing stuff up

The only thing you appear to be lacking is a dedicated sound card.

Other obvious candidates for spare money:-

  1. A nicer case
  2. A more powerful GPU.
  3. Better/additional monitors
  4. Lighting it up like a Christmas tree
  5. Johnnie Walker Black Label

Aha thanks, what kind of case should I get? basically I want to get to a stage where in a yrs time I can easily upgrade again, it's addictive, I already have 2 22" monitors I think they're 120mhz anyway max reso is 1920x1080

Are dedicated sound cards worth it? would I notice any difference? ( I have the logitech X-140 speakers atm)
Could I get a more powerful GPU with the PSU i have?
What about SLI?

Depends on what you're listening to, and your ears. I've never heard those speakers so I couldn't judge.

I've got no idea what PSU you've got.

What about SLI?

Never tried it, sorry. I'd always prefer a single GPU. If you're trying to go beyond what a single GPU can offer then fair enough.

It was just a suggestion, not sure what 470's are going for but i presume it wouldn't be more that £100 to upgrade to something like a 7950. A 670 is obviously going to set you back a bit more but again will be quicker than the 7950.

Then the simple question you should ask yourself...why not upgrade your speakers along with a decent sound card?

Also the Corsair CX600W won't be enough for SLI for most high-end Nvidia cards. And considering you got 120Hz monitor...money is not of concern, get a GTX690 for £750 may be? Or may be just get a better 750~850W PSU and grab a pair of 7950 (which should comes to under £600 in total)?
