I've currently got the following:

I've dotted in red, what I'm considering upgrading, so it'll either be the GPU or Mobo/CPU combo.

I've had my current rig for about 2 years, with some of the more recent upgrades being new monitor, new pehripherals and new ssds/hdds.

I'd be upgrading to either a GTX 970 or a mobo/cpu combo, now I know that I'd like to get the Intel 4790k, but I don't really know of a good mobo, I don't want something crappy, I originally had this planned out:

But I can stretch my budget a little more, so if a CPU/Mobo update is needed more, which mobo should I get in place of the current one I've got selected.

But yeah, just want some opinions really of what to upgrade.
My Budget is around 350, but I can stretch to 375.

Thanks.

Skylake (new CPU generation) is due out in August and will replace the 4790k, so I wouldn't recommend a 4790k right now.

I'd go ahead with your GPU upgrade (290x or 970) and then upgrade to Skylake if you like later on.

Yeah that does make more sense to be honest, I guess I'll just look into the 970/290x benchmarks. Thanks dude.
