What to Upgrade next?

Got some cash burning a hole in my bank account but unsure where to look for my next upgrade.

Current spec is:

Ryzen 5950x
Lain Li Galahad 360mm white AIO
MSI X570 Tomahawk
32Gb Crucial Ballistix 3200MHz DDR4
1x 1TB Samsung Ican'tremember Gen 3 NVME
Gigabyte RTX3080 10GB Vision
1x 480GB SATA SSD
1x 2TB Mechanical hard drive
All in a Lian li O-11 Dynamic White
9x Lian Li Uni RGB fans
A Superflower Leadex III 650W Gold (I have a Seasonic 750W I can put in if required)
It looks like this:


All this is connected to an Alienware AW3418DW 3440x1440p IPS Ultrawide running overclocked at 120Hz

I'm happy with my Mouse and Keyboard.

I picked up a Crucial 2TB Gen 4 (and have another one here after the price dropped by £30 but the rainforest refused to refund me £30 so one is going back.
The way I see it, AMD 7000 series just isn't worth it, I've no real intentions of going wholesale to Intel either.
This leaves either a graphics card upgrade to at least a 4080 (Monitor is G-Sync approved only) or a new Alienware OLED AW3423DWF model. Thoughts about which would be the better option?

Monitor or speakers, what do you have ?

I use a headset which I'm also happy with.

The monitor will have the greatest impact, going to OLED. I'd wait on the GPU and see how things settle down. As you say your CPU is good enough. If you only did gaming I'd suggest a 5800X3D sidegrade but I'm assuming you need 16C for something else.

Mainly games really. Not sure if see a massive benefit going to a 5800X3D from a 5950x?
