what to upgrade to?

At the moment i have a got an old geforce 7600 gt which isn't really playing the games i want so i have decided it's time for an upgrade!

specs:
cpu: Intel Pentium E5300 @ 2.60Ghz
ram: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz
Motherboard: 4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz

do you need to know anything else? I have around £215 - £250 to spend on this and keep in mind I will be needing a new power supply as the one I've got at the moment is only a 400w. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

only thing I can think of is maybe an e8400 and a 5750. That would provide a very large boost.

That would be about £210 and you might get away with that on a 400w.
