Looking to do a little upgrade to the below, purely from a gaming perspective, what should I upgrade first, and how much is it likely to cost?

Here is what I currently have:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego
Memory: 2GB (2x1GB) DDR PC4000 Dual Channel Kit
Video Card: HIS ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB GDDR3 (PCI-Express)

I would say CPU but that would mean a new motherboard and memory as well. Thus you should upgrade your GPU to a 2900 Pro or an 8800 GTS. Concerning price expect to pay £170 and up in most cases.

If you were going to upgrade motherboard, CPU and Ram then this is pretty much what I'd be going for but I think Billy is probably right that the graphics card will make the most difference. :)
