What to upgrade?

Here is my current setup:

ASUS A8N-SLI
AMD Athlon FX-55
2Gb Mushkin Extreme DDR2
2 x 7800GT 256mb in SLI
Tagan 580W PSU
Antec SPCR case

I need to change the CPU and mobo but would I notice a difference with a single 9800 GTX graphics card over the current 2 I have? Do I also need to upgrade the PSU if I went for a Quad Core?

is the muskin ddr2 memory ?, if it isnt and you move to quad core it will need to be.

not sure if tagam is a mistype, if its a tagan then it might be better to, as there were issues with certain ones blowing up etc.

if its one of the older ones that was fine, or the newer ones without the issue then it should be ok.

the 9800GTX will a decent improvement over you're current gfx setup.

get new mob q6600 they are cheap now decent cooler and new ram leave graphics cards for later
