Ok this is my current system:

q6600@3200mhz (the first batch of them so things are a bit warm)
asus p5ke deluxe
4gb ddr2 ocz (think it was 900 mhz but never got them that fast tbh)
8800gtx
lots of hard drives with a sata raptor 74gb as main (that i find is slower than my old sata as sometimes the system freezes, and the drive has been sent back to wd)
2407wfp with an old 19" lcd as a secondary
xonar d2x
nvidia stacker (which i dont like that much, my old lianli was better in my opinion)
scythe ninja b

was thinking of getting
a 4870x2 (not that i have problems with games but i dont think the pixel mapping on the dell is good so i run everything native)
some kind of watercooling kit (zalman? bit afraid to build my own kit )
one of those 300gb raptors
new mobo as the heatpipe on this one sucks a lot
maybe a better cpu? wait for the i7 and upgrade ram mobo and cpu?
another case to fit them all in?

thanks a lot

I'd steer clear of the w/c kits. they tend to cost a lot for anything decent, and the cheaper ones have their own problems.

read around a little, and post any questions here - you'll get the best bang for buck, and bits that work properly together.

Its like building your own pc, it may seem a little intimidating at first, but nothing much too it once you get started.

If you can splash out the money a velociraptor is prett nice :)

What os are you running? I recomend vista x64 and potentially going to 8gig if you fancy it

Random other thought for an upgrade yould be some really nice speakers for the d2x (its a brilliant sound card but i did a bit of testing and found it was wasted on rubishy speakers)

i have the logitech z5500 speakers :P

also, what is scaring me with building my own wc kit, is that something might leak...
also the budget is up to 600.
and i am running vista 64, but if i was gonna upgrade ram etc, i would wait for the i7 probably
