Hi guys, I've just been asked if I want anything to upgrade my computer for around £100 as a present, it seems like a good idea to me, so now I'm wondering what...
My current set-up is as in my sig. so I'm thinking off possibly going for a X48 motherboard, I'm contemplating getting a new processor around Christmas time (probably a E8600/Q####) and possibly a 4870 to crossfire with my 4870x2. I'm thinking this with a possible RAM upgrade should see me well into i7.
This is on this week only and seems OK, I'm not too fussed about staying with gigabyte, I actually quite fancy a change, does anyone have any suggestions?
- would upgrading my cpu now be a more sensible option, I'm just thinking the P35 chipset is getting on a bit now, may be a good time to go either X48 or P45?
Cheers for any help!
EDIT: Forgot I was planning on getting 6 Silent Eagle 2000's and a Zalaman 6-fan controller, this comes to £78.64. How about getting these and possibly four 2gb sticks of ram, making 8gb's in total? any suggestions for RAM?
