What to upgrade..

Heyy.. So my current rig isn't too bad at the moment, it's pretty decent I'd say and I want to upgrade it as I have a bit of cash lying around but not quite sure what to do with it to be honest at the moment...

So here's my spec and let me know! Running Windows 7 x64 on it very nice and smooth, love it.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Mobo: Asus Striker Extreme
RAM: OCZ 4GB (4x1GB) PC2-6400
GPU: ATI HD4870 1GB
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint 500GB 16MB Cache 7200RPM
PSU: OCZ 600w GameXStream PSU
Case: NZXT "HUSH" Silent
Sound Card: Creative SoundBlaster Audigy 7 SE
Speakers: Logitech X-230
Monitor: LG 19" Widescreen Flatron L197WH (1440x900)

I was thinking of getting a new 24" monitor or something.. Or maybe another hard drive as my current 500GB has about 120GB left on it - the Samsung F1 1TB 32MB Cache maybe?

Wasn't sure if I should upgrade anything else..?

The 24" monitor will be the most fun and the biggest impact upgrade wise - and would certainly flatter your rigs specs.

I have to agree also, a 24" monitor would be the best upgrade path for you..

It will make gaming so much better than your current 19" screen that's for sure!!!

People know how to waste money these days don't they. A 24" screen would be the better upgrade from this.

I recently went from a 19" to a 24", the difference is huge, a lot more fun!

Keep your other one so you can dual screen though!

Waste my money? Meh, I'm at college, living with parents, no rent/bills to pay, I work part-time.. Have my driving test soon (which I paid for everything), and getting a car soon (which I'm also paying for).. I've got everything I want.. But I still have a bit of money on the side so thought I'd treat myself and get a new monitor... Seen my friends Dell 24" TrueHD and it looks stunning.. Thought I'd get myself something; like a monitor!..

I will probably get a 2nd 4870 when I get myself an i7 rig in Q4 of this year after September maybe.
