What to use for CG Fireworks

Well

I am putting together a Home movie for someone in Premire Pro, and they have asked for the opening credits to be overlayed on a Fireworks display,

The problem is i dont have a fireworks display to overlay it on, Is there any software out there which i can use to create these types of things, i would like it to look like the video below

If you want to do it properly and have time to learn, then a 3d modelling package is the way forward. Have a look at the free copy of Houdini Apprentice and work through the tutorials.

You could try the demo of Particle Illusion I think its fully functional for 30 days.
