What to use to remove dried paint on wood ?

I've got some pine wood shelf brackets which somehow got paint spilt on them yesterday whilst decorating. I've only just found out and thus the paint has now fully dried and I need to find a method to get it off. I've spent about an hour now with alcohol wipes (which the paint shop recommended), but they are absolutely useless, my hands are raw from the scrubbing and I've had little progress.

Is there some kind of magic cleaning solution I can get that I can bathe them in to make it easy to remove the paint without ruining the finish on the wood? Obviously, I've had a little look online and saw various chemical strippers, but I've no idea if they are going to be OP for my needs or if they will ruin the wood.

I'm fully incompetent when it comes to DIY and decorating, so I realise this is probably a facepalm question in terms of basicness, but I've been fortunate my entire life to never have to paint anything, I've always paid someone else to deal with the hassle. It seems I should have done the same this time!

What paint have you got on them, as that would dictate the best removal process.

For stripping paint off wood Nitromors would be recommended, but pretty sure due to the EU the newer version is not so good, but worth a try.
