When I build pc's all I really need is a screwdriver and cable ties...

Many people have different tools they use aswell so I was wondering what do you use and why? and do you use a specific screwdriver?

Small electrical flat driver, phillips driver, small longnose pliers for awkward spaces, cable ties and an old bankcard.

Magnetic screwdriver and cable ties for me as well.

I just use a normal Phillips screwdriver and some needle-nose pliers. Always wanted to use a magnetic screwdriver for those pesky standoff bolts but is there not a risk of inducing a (small) current in the components with one?

Cable ties, cable tie bases, screw driver and old discount card for the usual run of the mill build. But I do have pincers and cable braiding toolkit too for more clinical builds. I will also use a dremel and a drill if needed but apart from that, thats the usual.

cable ties, magnetic screw driver(dropping screws is extremely annoying, especially when you're near the end of the build), an anti static bag (to put stuff on if I need to take it out temporarily, or put stuff in if I'm removing the part permanently, only applies to mobo/cpu/gpu) , my hands, that's about it

I have never had any problems and friends have used them as well with no issues.

On the build in my sig i only needed a screwdriver for the bracket on my cpu cooler (two screws), motherboard screws are thumb screws, screwless pci card brackets, thumb screws on the hdd's and case panels, psu held in by a clamping bracket and the optical drive bays feature a clip system, best thing about Lian Li cases, very easy to build in.
