what tripod is best for my camera ? im 6ft 8 so a good height would be nice, i went into jessops and was put off by the basic £80 ones with minimal adjustment! :O

id also like a remote shutter release!

Look at the manfrotto range. If you go to their website;

They have a 'tripod and head' chooser, that should help you decide what features you need etc. Even if you don't get a Manfrotto one, it will help you decide what to hunt for. Other brands to look at are Gitzo or velbon(the cheaper option)
