What type of battery to use on a 360

annoying that they didnt make it compatible with the standard 360 play and charge kit, but instead making it specific for the guitar :(

I use the quick charge, have 2 batteries so one is on charge while the other one is gaming :) Did have plug and play but I hate the wires now :D

I use a quick charge with two batteries too ( I have two pads). I keep the original disposable battery holders handy for the rare occasion where both batterys run out

Picked up a Quick Charge Kit plus an extra black battery for £22.98. Saved £7 on the Quick Charge with a 'Cheaper when bought with anything else' offer

Play & Charge plus an extra battery would have come to £24.98, so a fair deal on the above and no wires.

Just got to wait for my new 360 to actually turn up now though :D

From experience my rechargeables in my 360 pads last almost twice as long as the play and charge kit.

Same here, I use energizer rechargeable, 6 batteries, Leave 4 on charge. Use 2 in the console, and I swap them out when needed. I'll time how long it is between changing next time, as I've not noticed, But it's a pretty long time.

I use a 4 battery charger which connects to pc and only cost me £10 for 4 AA and 4 AAA and the charger, its from a competitor and its bloody good holds really good charge in the beatteries

May as well post this on here. Im looking for some rechargeable batteries and a charger, for use with the Wii, Guitar for Guitar Hero 3 and a few other things. What do people recommend, as I have never used rechargeables before.

Specific brand or even better actual items would be appreciated :)

I have both the play and charge and the quick charge. The quick charge is quick. I don't know where they got their estimation of charging in two hours, it's nowhere near that long.

You can get packs from ebay which hold more charge. Not sure on the reliability of them though - they work with the play and charge kit too :)

I went from using AA Rechargables to 3x Rechargable battery packs and the MS Quick charge kit. Now I have no downtime when a battery runs out :)

Play and charge kit here. Means I don't have to worry about charging the batteries when they run out or swapping over to a spare set, I can just plug the cable in and carry on playing while they charge.
