What type of video out?

I though mymates geforce 4 would have an svid output on it but it has something different. It's similar to svid but has morepins. Does anyone know what this is?

i think its for a din-composite converter cable, the socket supplies both svid. and comp. though the single connector.

So what cable would I need to connect it to a TV?

that depends what connector you want to use, for svid, a simple svid to svid cable from the card to the tv should do the trick.

But I've treied a s vid connector but it wouldn't fit into the din socket.

Perhaps there is a breakout box/cable that you need to use. Thats the only other way if the svid cable doesnt plug directly in, very strange every card bar the x1900 series/5950/7800 (has a breakout cable) has worked with svid plugged directly to the card.
