I though mymates geforce 4 would have an svid output on it but it has something different. It's similar to svid but has morepins. Does anyone know what this is?
 
that depends what connector you want to use, for svid, a simple svid to svid cable from the card to the tv should do the trick.

But I've treied a s vid connector but it wouldn't fit into the din socket.

Really?

Perhaps there is a breakout box/cable that you need to use. Thats the only other way if the svid cable doesnt plug directly in, very strange every card bar the x1900 series/5950/7800 (has a breakout cable) has worked with svid plugged directly to the card.
