What tyre thread

Looking at getting some decent tyres for our Yaris with the wheel size 185/60R15 - not too fussed on price, just want a decent tyre for the money. What are the Conti Premium Contact 5s like? Anything else that I should consider?
 
I would go so far as to say the Contis are probably overkill for a Yaris. Anything like the Falken 452/453 will be fine and offer excellent VFM
 
Something like Kumho KU31's would be my suggestion. Again good value for money as above and they wear reasonably well.
 
Had Conti's on my 2010 Yaris, not overkill IMO.

Girlfriend's Aygo has Conti 3's, they suit the car very well.

What are they anyway, like £50 a corner? :P
 
Sorry for the thread hi-jack, however there doesn't appear to be a dedicated tyre thread (suppose it's a tad difficult due to the unlimited number of combos :p)

I'm looking to sort the rear tyres on the 200SX and not 100% sure on what to go for. On my previous wheels I had some FK452s (18" wheels) however I have been looking at these Hancooks as an alternative for my R33 GTR wheels (17").

I reasoning was that the current tyres are only 225 wide and iirc a 45 profile so was thinking that with the wider tyre I would want a lower profile.

Agreed that 35 might be a bit on the low side so will take a look at the 40s, thanks very much :)
