'What-u-hear'

Hi all,

Not sure if this should be in Sound City, but it's mostly software related so I'll stick it in here. Does anyone know of a software program that can carry out a similar function to 'What-u-hear' - recording anything that comes out of the speakers? For some reason my SB Live offers what-u-hear but my X-fi doesn't.

Try Audacity.

Free Sound recorder can record anything that runs through your sound card. I've found it to be very good.
