This is my current setup
Intel Pentium 4 650 [email protected] Socket 775 800mhz 2mb Cache
Asus P5N32-SLI Deluxe (latest bios)
Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-5400C4 TwinX (4x512MB)
XFX GEFORCE 7900GTX 256MB DDR3
Creative Soundblaster X-FI Xtreme Music - Retail
Western Digital RAPTOR 36.7GB 10,000rpm 8mb cache
Samsung Spinpoint 160GB 8mb cache
Enermax Liberty 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
Gigabyte G-Power Pro CPU Cooler

Got my fsb clock at 815
Memory timings 4-4-4-12-4-2t
Cpu Volt @ 1.3875

Any hints from anyone with a similar system on how to squeeze some more out of this. Cheers

go watercooling like im trying to do.

Use gritpaper on your cpu and rub away til the copper shows. Took 10oc of my temperature.

I recommend the zalman 9700 which is on this week only offer.

;) upgrade lol. Change the Pentium Chip if your motherboard allows it to Conroe. Buy a e6300 or e4300(800fsb) and your fps will shoot up. It will then allow serious overclocking. :D

p.s isnt the 7900GTX a 512mb Card

Cheers mate, I get really good cpu temps with this cooler on the lowest setting.

I wish I could, I bought the P5N32 that doesn't support conroe

Also forgot to add that my P4 651 3.4Ghz overclocks to 4.0Ghz easily on stock voltage with the temp rising to around 50oc.

Try pushing it a little further. **** the fsb and go for the frequency.

With your current cooler you should get easily 3.8Ghz.

What are your current temps atm

yup its a 512mb 7900 GTX

Current cpu temp is around the 34 mark.

Are my memory timings ok ?

That conroe looks intersting, how far will that overclock to? and if it works in my mobo I'll be laughing

i think your talking about the P5N32-E SLI 680i which is the new one, not the old p5n32-sli deluxe (unless its had a bios update or something)

Not sure as i have havent run that yet with this PC.

My BF was trying to get me another 8800 card but I'm not sure if it will fit in the current case.

Its now running quietly at 3.3ghz at 48c.
