what upgrade for sub £500.00?

Hi spec in sig...

Thinking SSD drive to speed things up? is it worth getting 2 cheaper ones and raid 0 or 1 vertex?

thinking maybe another 4870 1gb for crossfire?

need new mouse matt which one?

also like the look at the ambx set... any good?

yeah to be fair why you wanting to upgrade? Looks like a pretty solid system as is, are you struggling with anything? If not i'd say just save your money

well defo looking at ambx set.... should i maybe look at getting starter kit and premium? can you do that to add the extra speakers?

should i look at a sound card?

which harddrives should i look at? got 500gb at moment (not in raid) and want to speed things up. i cant raid them as 1 is sata 2 other isnt.... I still have 400+gb spare space over the 2 of them

was looking at SSD but would it be better to spend say

so go another 4870 i think is way to go. would 1 vertex 30gb be good enough for O/S (win7) and couple of games? i.e WOW and Crysis etc? is one vertex a lot faster than 2x raid o normal drives?

30gb isn't a lot of space. I don't think that you'd fit much more than just Windows on it.

Personally I'd get one of the 64gb Samsung drives (not available on OCUK, sadly) for around £130.
