What upgrade from GTX470 SLI?

Currently I am running an I7-920 @ 4Ghz with GTX470's in SLI with 3 x 1080p monitors.

But I have noticed with the last batch of games, and even with the graphics upgrade for World of Tanks, the cards can no longer handle triple screen gaming (with decent settings)

So, what would be a suitable upgrade?

I have used Nvidia for quite a few years now, the last AMD card I had was the X800XT - great card too! But this whole AMD 'drivers' debate does make me wary....do I need to be....how is the SLI/Crossfire comparison, is micro-stutter noticeably worse on AMD?

Now even though I am tempted by the GTX670's, the 7950's are 'slightly' faster, have more VRAM, a higher memory bus and are considerably cheaper - so it's a no brainer, right? So why am I so hesitant....convince me the AMD is the right choice! :p

Oh, my monitors are DVI (and VGA) only and I have 2 of them running through 2 x Aten KVM switches, as I share them with another computer, will this be an issue or do I just use a HDMI to DVI adapter for the 2nd outputs.

these are good cards

im getting a couple to SLI, they scale really well and have 3GB VRAM and really cool and quiet

Not sure about having 2 cards that both blow the heat into the case...I am running with the side off my machine at the moment as temps go up ~8-10*c with the side on! Antec 1200 case, so plenty of fans in it.

And that is with 1 card with reference cooler and 1 with a 3rd party cooler I installed.
