Hi,

I've got a new case which has usb-3.1 cable to the front pannel, but it also has a USB-c socket/cable from the front pannel.

My current board doesn't support USB-c, but it has spare USB-2 headers, is there an adaptor I can use to utilise this? I appreciate it wont run at usb-3 speeds but it would still be handy to plug in...

Would this adaptor work? Theres also a pic of the plug I have:

Ahh thanks

Maybe such a thing doesn't exist then.. I'm after a usb2 header to usbc3 like the kolink adaptor above..

I should have said.. It's an older motherboard than the one in my sig, my secondary system.

I bought a new case for it recently as I found a bargain and it's current case is awefull. It will be upgraded internally with a board new enough to have the right headers but probably not for a year or two.

I don't realy need the additional connectivity but I thought it would be nice to have a functional usbc on the front panel if it was cheap to do, even if it only runs at usb2 spec or whatever.
