Hi guys, I have the money right here and need help deciding what version of GTX 760 should I get? Doesn't necessarily have to be from this site but of course don't link it, just tell me the name of the card.

My budget is £220

Please help, I'll be using it for gaming of course.

I need an answer right now as I'm about to buy

i would have said the msi gaming edition (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-206-MS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1830) but its pre order only on here at the moment, so probably this if you buy from ocuk, good card:

Thanks, I was about to buy that one too. MSI Gaming edition is the best, right? One site says it's cons are that the overclock is low.

Also could I put the graphics card in with my computer specs in my signature? Or do I need a better PSU, or motherboard, etc?

not to sure about over clocking to be honest, someone might be able to give you an answer on that... what sorta games are you playing?

Nothing big right now, but might want to play new games in the future like uh, I don't know, big MMO's or Battlefield 4 or something like that.

How does the EVGA Superclocked ACX version compare to this one?

Okay I came down to these two choices

MSI GTX 760 TwinFrozr Gaming 2 GB

OR

EVGA GeForce GTX 760 1072MHz 2GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI SuperClocked w/ ACX Cooler

Which one to get?

they are all about the same to be honest, some might just be clocked a little higher. either of the 3 will be ok but bf4 might be a little more demanding on the 760 (but still play nice)... i personally went for evga brand because it had good rma reviews. not sure on other peoples opinions

Hi there

Check the KFA2 EX OC model, it uses a much better PCB and decent cooler, so at £210 it is great value. :)

I just got this exact card first thing this morning. I was gladly surprised and it clocks like a beast, whilst being very very quiet. Seems a bit flimsy compared to the solid stock coolers, but the price v performance is great. I wasn't prepared to throw massive amounts on a gpu, and I'm glad I didn't. You don't need it at 1080p. Recommended

I've bought the KFA2 EX OC also and its great. Fast and quiet. No problems at 1200p

Yeah the KFA EX OC cards tend to be superb, down to the PCB and power phases they use. Yes agreed coolers could feel more solid, but they are reliable, do a good job and certainly are quiet.

Plus KFA2 warranty service is absolutely superb!

Other cards offering similar boost/OC performance cost £10-£20 more.

Yes, I should point out the KFA2 cooler on this card is NOT infective in any way, I just felt I needed to be careful when holding it as the top is kind of all fan and no real protection when holding it. Worrys begone however when it's in its slot and I'm so glad I decided on it. Wonder what I can clock mine up to......

Been looking for somewhere to buy the MSI Gaming, but I can't find anything. All out of stock.. God damn it.

I have £220 to spend, and apparently my friend said that the MSI gaming fans bearings will rattle and that MSI is a bad brand. What do you suggest I should buy for £220? Or around that price.. Doesn't necessarily need to be on this site.

Is this the card you are talking about, bad the way? And is it as good as the MSI gaming?

NO HOTLINKING

And is my spec good enough to run this card? It's in my signature

It does if you want a link to it.

Posting model numbers is fine.

Posting links to competitors, hinting at competitors or their pricing etc. isn't.

Also hotlinking of images isn't allowed, especially when they're from a competitor.

I don't want a link to it, I'm just saying if a model number isn't on this site, I don't want it excluded if there's something better for £220.

I'll be getting the KFA2. But I'm scared my 500w PSU is not enough. Is it enough? Full spec in sig

Last bump before I buy, will KFA2 work with 500w PSU?

Would suck to burn up my PSU or w/e if I don't find out. Most people say It's okay, some say 600w at least, etc..I don't know.

I don't really have a budget for another PSU

It will work with your PSU, however your CPU will severely bottleneck the new card making it a pointless purchase unless you plan on upgrading CPU later on.

I'll be upgrading to i5 Haswell, Kingston HyperX Grey 8GB, and Z87-D3HP motherboard later.

Would the PSU still be good enough for these components?

It seems HT4U noticed the boost decreasing over time with the reference model:

http://translate.google.es/translat...013/nvidia_geforce_gtx_760_im_test/index8.php

It is worth emphasizing that a typical benchmark behavior, immediately after starting the game in all situations almost always has a GPU clock speed of 1137 MHz result. After 15 minutes in a static scene is an entirely different value is emerging, which is on average only in the range of about 1000 MHz and this at 21 ° C room temperature. Thus we see an agent that acts still below the NVIDIA naming of 1032 MHz.
