What version of memtest are people using these days?

As title really. I've just hold of some Samsung green and want to start tuning. Do you still need to run it off a USB before you boot into windows???

Can someone give me a link??

Just run the latest from USB or ISO.

I ran 4.1 the other day (had it lying around) on my SB-E rig and it ran fine. Interestingly 4.2 supported SB but I didn't have any issues.

No boot in to windows required!

I just use the latest version that can be used via a dvd drive. Yes, a lot of people theese days reccomend having no optical drive in your rig. I still keep one just for the likes of memtest. So easy to create an iso disk.

I'm so close to pulling mine out! Just can't find the bay cover for the case!

You can stealth mod an optical drive. Just find a guide online for your particular case. Another rerason i keep my od drive, is that it's a blu ray drive.

I just hit up the latest version from the site. On a USB stick, boot from it and away I go!!! easy!!!
