What video call app

Hi all,

I have an iPad and Android phone, my wife has iPhone and android tablet but we are looking for a love video call app we can use across all platforms, we want it to work a bit like windows messenger used to.

Any ideas? We have tried Skype but it wanted us to enter a phone number and we wanted to do it over wifi.

Skype uses wifi, if your connected to wifi.

But other than that you can try Tango, which i have used a few times and theres also Viber iirc that does the same thing.

But i use Skype mostly to stay in touch with family in other countries.

Can't find tango for my iPad on App Store, or viber, also Skype wants me to enter a phone number but neither my iPad or the wife's nexus has a phone number

Any ideas?

Ok done a bit of digging around and it seems like Tango havent developed the app for use on the ipad :/

As for skype on the ipad, again this is what i could find:

Many thanks that worked, although for some reason no video coming from the wife's nexus but she can see me on my iPad, looks like it is an issue with Skype on the nexus.
