Stupid question maybe but i just want to clear something up.

Someone i know has just bought a new motherboard and it says that any cards running over 1.5 volts may damage the board, but im sure the X800 and 6800 range upwards run at 3.3volts?

The motherboard an Asrock K7VT4A.
