Yes it does, You would need to specify what model and then visit a laptop charger website and match the model with the required charger.
You could end up buying one that could potentially work for the laptop but over time start to damage the internals.

If you have the charger, it should be marked on the label that is affixed to the charger itself. Also, this value, (along with required amperage) is normally marked on the bottom of the laptop too.
Like another poster on this thread said, power requiremnts vary between laptop makes and models, so take care to buy a replacement that is guaranteed to work with yours.
