what was that game..

just watched the video of the horsemen fighting in this thread and it made me think of a game.

I have no idea whether it was PC or console though. ive only seen one tech demo of it. It made me think of Prince of Persia to start with, the guy was an assassin who was wandering through the streets for his target, he mingles with crowds but can also jump along the roof tops.

At the end of the video he escapes on horse back.

Its rather vague but im sure one of you boffins know what im talking about.

np. I was quite taken by that video when I first saw it. The graphics don't look all that great, but it looks like the story will be quite interesting, and the atmosphere looks ****** awesome. So, from what little I've seen of Assassin's Creed, I'm also looking forward to it. :cool:

Is it me or did we see something very similar, or a very early preview of, years ago.

It's odd because I remember the video very distinctly when I watched it again and I can swear I read a preview of this yonks ago in PC Gamer.

Has it been around long?

What i saw was that of a developer/publisher showing a tech demo of the game, he was commentating as he went through it and it was quite a long video. That does seem a very long time ago now.
