What was the i3 4030u designed for?

Looking for a laptop to replace my computer, but with under £200 budget I'm nit going to find a gaming model comparable obviously and so long I can play simcity 2013, possibly the forest and older games I'd be happy with my system as is but without the gtx 750 and in laptop form and so I saw the Asus F555L that has the above processor thinking it be the laptop version to my desktop, but noticed on compare sites the processor and same hd 4400 graphics are much weaker so I'm wondering what's its actual purpose was???


Take away the gtx 750 and I can run ark survival evolved and farming simulator 17 on high or medium with smooth play, but that laptop comes across as it wouldn't even do that.

Oh I know what the hd 4400 is like and I'm pretty impressed by it from all the IGPU computers/laptops I've had, even miles better than the old Radeon 6310 in an apu I had, but I looked up the spec of the processor as most the i3 systems I've found had hd 4000 or less and any i5 models have hd 3000 with the very odd 4000 and when I saw it had 4400 I thought awesome, but reading those specs the mobile version seems to be clocked slower?? Which to me makes it out to be a weaker version and while the i3 itself is 2c4t like my desktop, it is limited to 1.9ghz..... Mean this laptop with this i3 is £200, but for around £120 I could get an i5 3210m, but with hd 4000 though 120 seems a bit much.

I looked at the last link, while they might be better I am using gum for purchase as other than Facebook, I don't really have much options, I can't do PayPal or transactions, so eBay is a bit useless as I'm in Devon there isn't a huge amount of choice within a 50 mile radius, not for what I want to pay anyways.


If it wasn't for the gt 640m not going to be up to the job(simcity and older yes, but if I get something aimed for gaming I want to play other games like fo4 and similar as playable as possible to warrant the purchase) as the laptop I found with that has an i7 3630qm and is £150.


Okay to sum it up for the titles processor, would I regret getting a weaker version of my desktop even if it would be better than say a xps m1530 and a Samsung x460? old models for £40-50, but dedicated graphics..
