Since owning a Samsung Galaxy S2, I have become very critical of monitors, and I'm yet to see anything close to the colour gamut (vividness) of a SAMOLED screen. People here under Monitors here kindly gave me some suggestions and I went for the U2412M which is still going strong. Love its gamut and the fact that it's 16:10 1200p, which is better for a 1-eyed person like me as it's "squarer" than 16:9. 4:3 doesn't exist any more!
Anyway, I found out later on that the U2410 was the most sought model in the 24" department on gamut grounds. Is that still the case or has another Ultrasharp model taken over? I believe that the U2711 was popular in the 27" department.
I'm not looking to buy a new monitor btw as I'm very happy with the U2412M. Just nostalgia and curiosity really as the Ultrasharp range has been around for about 10 years now.
