What was your first ever CPU?

1st computer = Zilog Z80 @ 4MHz (Amstrad CPC 464)

1st PC = AMD 386 SX-33

1st upgrade (in 1st PC) = AMD 486 DX4-100

Getting the itch to go back to AMD after looking at some favourable reviews showing Phenom II performance vs Intel i5/i7 vs bang for buck.

Some real old AMD was in my first computer, no idea what it was called!
Duron 1.3Ghz.
Athlon XP 2400+
Athlon 64 3000+ (OC to 2.6Ghz)
Athlon 64 X2 4400+ (OC to 2.5Ghz, I also used this CPU the longest)
and now the AMD Athlon II X4 640 (Currently OC at 3.6Ghz)
I like my AMD products! No idea why I've never been inclined to try out Intel though.

Had Speccys and Amigas etc

But my First CPU was a Pentium 120

I remember sitting back and thinking- how can things possibly get any faster than this

Little did I know ehh

My first computer was ancient 386 16mhm :D that was a beast, i still remember playing Dune, what a grate game, but it was a bit too much for it to play warcraft :D

First Computer Purchased - Packard Bell 486 SX25 Mhz

First CPU actually purchased for a build - AMD Athlon XP 1700+
