Hope this is the right section.

I was just wondering about everyone's GPU history, what upgrade path have you taken over the years.

Mine would be:

7300LE (came in first own PC)

8800GTX :D

5970

7970 (then another a year later)

Now a R9 295x2.

So, what about everyone else?

I can't remember what I had exactly, but I rememered I used to have a 4000 series Nvidia card too. Wouldn't work in BF2 for some reason. Then was on to the 5000 series and had to get rid of that because Hitman Blood Money would crash every time you fire a gun!

We did but I will join again :)

Sapphire HD 7850 Dual-X 2GB
^That^ Crossfired with MSI Twin Frozr HD 7850 2GB
Reference R9 290

That is all for me, if it wasn't for crossfire being a issue and 2GB Vram limiting @1440p I would have kept the HD 7850's, they were awesome overclockers.

I know this thread pops up every year or two, but it's still fun dredging up through the memory! :)

Pace PMC 3D Edge - no idea on specs, bought it for the TV-out port
6600GT 128MB
HD2900 PRO 512MB
HD3870 512MB
HD4870 512MB
HD4870 512MB / 1GB Crossfire

HD7970 3GB Crossfire (Accelero Xtreme & Twin Frozr)
R9 290 4GB Crossfire (reference, later fitted with Accelero Hybrid II's)

If I include the other PCs I've got around the house, the list becomes a little more varied:
HD3200 (integrated)
HD5450
HD6450
HD5870
HD6870
GT440 x5 (separate LAN PCs)
GTX460 768MB
