Can you tell me what model waterblock this is? am i right in thinking the copper-top is an aftermarket extra?

Not that hot on these things, so any assistance appreciated.

Thats a Apogee GTX. The stock block comes with an aluminium top which was prone to galinization (metal rots). The copper top is a replacement.

No worries. It's not a bad block tbh but the problems it has with the stock aluminium top earned a bad reputation. With the copper top you will not encounter difficulties.
