what wattage do i need?

looking to run:

Phenom x2 555BE oc'd maybe 3.5ish
gigabyte 870a ud3
xfx 4890
4gb g.skill
500gb sata 3
zalman Z7 plus case

will the 400W corsair be enough? I understand the issue of having a good quality PSU but budget is getting tighter and tighter!

get 500 w or 550

edit: theres good deal on corsair 650w psu and cheaper in price then 550 w psu

4890 apparently uses 190w at load so it will be tight I'd imagine. No idea what your CPU uses though.

You may need a 500w just to be safe
I'm running a system much like yours-
Phenom II 555 BE
4GB OCZ Reaper 1800Mhz.
ATI 5770 and I'm using a 400W Corsair just fine

Usually a 400W would be fine - but the fact that you are using a 4890 means I'd probably go for a minimum of 500W.

I go for a 500w to give a little Le-way, 400w would run your system though.
