What Wii games in development???

I have been interested in the Wii ever since launch but have not had opportunity to even try one until this weekend.

Having played for several hours on Wii Sports, Wii Play and wario Ware, I must say I am really keen to get a Wii, though the list of games I'd like is currently very small.

The controls for a lot of the mini games on Wii Sports and Play were absoluely great and really displayed the potential of the console and the control methods but are there any games coming which will make use of such controls?

For example, I loved playing the pool and felt that the controls were great, however in its current form, it is very limited. I'd love there to be a pool game with loads of options etc, and the controls from Wii Sports.

Another example would be the shooing, Is there a Point Blank coming to the Wii as it seems to be the perfect platform for such a game!!

Are there any such games coming?

I'm not really interested in the likes of the platformers etc etc so would really be looking for games of the sporting ilk to make the purchase a worthwhile one.

Good to hear there are at least a few games coming that sound like the kind of thing I want to play.

That's what I've been thinking about the Wii, if the right games come out that really make use of the controls it could wipe the floor with the opposition in terms of really enjoyable gaming.

Even the tiny little touches like the sounds from the wiimote really helped with the emmersion. I played a bit of Red Steel (a lot of walking into walls etc to begin with) and I must say, I loved the fact the reloading sound came from your hand.

Think I'll keep on saving the pennies and get myself a wii and hope the games come.
