What will happen to PSTN lines

I know they'll be gone in a few years. I just wondered if it will have to be FTTP. I'm thinking of upgrading to FTTP with Jurassic Fibre but it's a bit of palaver with drilling etc. but if it's inevitable I may as well go for it now as wait.

PTSN is being switched off in 2025, so you might as well get switched over now as it’s going to happen. It will all be digital voice after that. Copper services won’t be sold at all once FTTP is available to all.

Will all the phone lines to houses be replaced ?

So I've two landline phones in the house. I don't want to use cordless phones how will I be able to carry on using them ?
