What will I be charged to fix this

my Apple 17" laptop has this not as bad as that though but I guess it'll eventually get like this.

What do you think are the estimated repair costs? Annoying coz the laptop is a bit slow for the kind of stuff I do but its a gorgeous laptop.

Is that using the 8600M GT GPU? I believe Apple updated its warranty on those models due to various 'known issues' with the chipset.

Would your 17" be covered by that?

Please don't say it's a X1600 version as i still have one of those and i hop it doesn't break! :eek:

It was the radeon 9700 mobility I think.
It was the 1.67Ghz revision.
