Hi all,

I have finally decided to replace my Lachesis mouse as its driving me nuts. For some reason the mouse pointer has gotten a life of its own and doesn't need me to move it around anymore! I believe this is a common problem with these mice?

Anyhoo, I love the mouse appearance wise but it has to go or I go! (Hmmm didn't think of that, maybe I will go)

So I am looking for recommedations for a good, slick looking, reliable alternative that will keep me happy for the foreseeable future!

Thanking you in advance!

My Lachesis did the same thing, a very common problem. I'm now reluctant to try another Razer as I had previously had the old diamondback which also had problems and Razers response was to take the thing apart! These mice are quite pricey so you shouldn't have to take the things apart to try to get them working as they should so they will no longer be getting my dosh, despite all the praise for their Deathadder etc.
Been bitten twice by these snake named mice!

Thanks for the responses guys!

I do love my Lachesis but apparently the problem I am having with it is quite common place! So I don't think I will get another one!

a lot of people seem to like the Deathadder but I have been looking at the Roccat Kone which looks pretty decent and has some postive reviews!

What ya reckon?

It is a common issue, iirc as you say its a connection issue. Mine decides it wants to click the mouse buttons 1 billion times per second every now and then.

I had a hands on with some logitech mice in a highstreet store and didn't get along with them at all; the shape was just too different to what i'm used to (only owned razer mice in the past decade).

Such a shame too as i'm utterly fed up with razers poor quality control, every mouse i've owned has become useless due to connection issues, but i can't find a mouse i like the feel of :(
