What Windows 8 Apps Do You Use On PC?

I don't use apps at all on Windows 8.1 and doubt I ever will for as long as I need to sign up for a Microsoft account. That aside, I don't believe I have a need for an app.
 
despite a few attempts, just cant get into the whole app thing, they had a noble idea but its just not there yet. still find myself resorting to the desktop to get things done.

only ever really use the pdf viewer app simply because its default and i cba changing it.

i'd love games to run in some kind of metro mode, after all they go fullscreen over the desktop anyway but the ability to for example tile the desktop to one side for quick tabbing would be lovely. [mostly so i can browse ocuk during those times in civ where the other guy takes ages to end turn :P ]

I use the weather one. Well it's there and I never removed it. WIthout thinking, If I do want to checkout the forcast I'd still normally pick up my iphone and check there.

Other than that my start screen is used to access reguler software with custom tiles from http://walloftiles.net/
