Im looking to upgrade my netbook to wireless n and im not sure what card/adaptor etc i need to do this...can anyone help me? by giving me some model numbers etc compatiable with my Acer Aspire One 531h

you need to use a micro card, just google wireless card for laptop and it will come up. For ease of it id go with a USB wireless adapter if you don't mind the extra stick in the laptop^^
