As above looking to replace my wired hyperX headset with a wireless headset purely to eliminate another wire hanging out my pc.
What do you suggest?

So far i have tried a pair of beats studio3 wireless these were ok but the sound kept dropping out if i got more that 4ft from the pc, they were connecting to the motherboard bluetooth.
I do not need these for anything else other than a pc and a mic is not really needed as i have an independant one.

thats about it
thanks

That's very strange?

I've been using Bluetooth ear/headphones since 2008 with PC's/laptops, with a multitude of cheap random brand ear/headphones, along with named brands - but budget entry level stuff, and i've never had a problem, on any machine that i've connected to, be it a laptop or PC?
I can walk downstairs and even answer the door, but dare step outside and it will break up and eventually disconnect. I also have pretty thick brickwork too.

However, I once tried a USB3 Bluetooth dongle, and that did stutter/breakup when across the room?

Have you tried connecting your Beats to your phone and walking downstairs to test the range? As that would eliminate the motherboard from the equation, and then you'd know that you're just very unlucky with those Beats?
It might be worth giving this a guy to rule out the motherboard being the cause of it? I currently have 3 sets of JBL earbuds, and 3 Tesco 'MIXXX' cheapies, and as aforementioned, zero issues going far away downstairs and around the house with the PC upstairs.
