OK exactly what games you planning to watch on telly during the world cup?

You guys are clever souls so you'll understand the 'code' system below. I am a 3ci. What are you?

FIRST, ENGLAND'S GROUP STAGES, YOU WILL WATCH:

1) None at all - I will watch no games from Englands group.
2) Just group games that England are actually playing in.
3) All of the games in our group even ones not involving England

ONCE THE GROUP STAGE IS OVER, SPECIFIC GAMES YOU'RE GONNA WATCH:

a) Only games involving England, until England is out then turn off
b) Until England is out, And the final whoever is playing
c) Until england is out, And the semi's and final whoever is playing
d) The quarters/semis and finals even if England is out

AND PUTTING ENGLAND TO ONE SIDE A MINUTE:

i) not bothering watching other teams .. not really bothered to be honest
ii) Will also watch the best teams in the world like Brazil
iii) Will watch best teams and almost best teams such as Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Spain, maybe Portugal.
iv) Will watch every other game I can possibly fit in, even rubbish 'Congo vs Barbados'! Basically as much footy viewing as humanly possible! Yeeaaa!
v) This code system frankly sucks I'm not using it at all I'll just gonna write what games I'm going to watch below. You muppet.

So - what's your 'code'?

3diii , where possible and if not I'll PVR them!

I can't get enough of the World Cup! With the possible exception of the poorer random games such as the one you mention, but even with them if I've got nothing else to do, I'll probably have a gander, even if it's just for more cheap HD thrills!

Anyone got a link to one of those cool World Cup spreadsheets?

v

It is 3div, but why bother with a stupid code?

The footy will be on in the office whenever it is being broadcast, and there will be a new telly in the house devoted to the World Cup.

2diii for me.

Will basically watch any match which looks interesting, obviously that's all England games and all games knockout or otherwise involving probably the top 6 teams.

I'll watch whatever I can catch - I don't watch the World Cup just for England. I actually quite enjoyed the Euro's :p

Especially enjoy watching Germany and the Netherlands.

Also, screw your code.

I will watch every game which does not have a scheduling clash. If 2 or so games are playing at the same time i will choose which ever i think will be the most interesting.

+1

I'll watch as much as possible.. I'm already contemplating dual screen to stream games whilst I'm at work.

Stream from where? Are the beeb putting the games out over their website? If so that would be so awesome, as nobody can see my screen where I sit at work \0/

I used to work at a school that had some funky thing for broadcasting any TV channel over the entire computer network so I just sat back and watched whatever game they were showing on BBC1 or 2. Good times!

Hope they stream them on the website, don't see why they couldn't.

+1, if I've got nothing on and a game is on I may aswell whack it on in the background, I'm not at all watching the world cup for England, you get far far less enjoyment out of it, largely because England play boring football and the media hype surrounding the first group stage win against San Marino , winning the group stage with no competition and getting hammered by any half decent team is just boring and happened with every competition I've seen England play since I've been alive.

Holland, Spain, France(if they manage to fire their manager or pulls his thumb out), Brazil, England, Argentina, Portugal, Germany(maybe), South Korea, Uraguay, Mexico, Japan, Paraguay, USA will all have games I want to watch.

I'm interested to see if South Korea can play well again and still play decent football and South Africa because the host nations team should hopefully have good atmosphere and energy to the games.

First and foremost I want to try to see the best football in the competition, and that isn't always from the best teams and has almost no chance of coming from England which is why England are no more important for me to watch than many other teams.

Lastly, you have more chance of an accumulator win if you've actually watched the teams before you predict how they'll play ;)

 code.

Every God damn game they Televise. :D

Also.
I got that inview thingy on me 40 incher when there are two matches. :p

This but will definitely give priority to Brazil, Argentina and Spain.

I will watch every game that is on the telly when I am in the house.

Some of the best (and hilariously bad) games you will ever see involve the weaker sides.

I understand the system but I don't really fit into any of the categories, I'll be watching any match I feel like since I don't support any of the teams in it so that could be lots or very few, I'll try to catch the semis and the final at least though. Plus possibly going to the World Cup meet if it fits in with the rest of my plans.
