I recently bought an asus 5850 directcu off ocuk and it just about fits in my cm stormscout case, i have decided amongst other things that im going to change my case to a full tower and other things like my main drive to a ssd what i was wondering though was would it be better to sell the 5850 and buy two xfx 5770 xxx's for the same price almost? bearing in mind that i wont really have money for a second 5850 anytime soon. or will the 5850 directcu outpreform the 5770's in xfire?

are you likely to be overclocking the 5850?

What resolution are you running?

It's worth bearing in mind that having used your 5850 it's lost some of its value, and in most games, at most reasonable resolutions it'll easily render any games you throw at it. Also it's an Asus so you've got 3 years of warranty you can take advantage of

I'd just enjoy what you've got. If you want you can overclock it and have 5870 performance

I'd do this. There's not much point in changing, and the 5850 is a good card.

yes i have it clocked at 850Mhz and memory at 1200 on stock volts. and i play at 1920x1080, i was trying heaven bench at different resolutions though to see how high i can have the settings.
