I'm pretty much set on my set up.

May rejig a couple of things in the new year when I actually commit to buy. But, in regards to a power supply, I have no idea what would be a suitable amount of watts.

A couple of things to note:

I do plan to overclock as far as possible.
I have no intentions to SLI.
I'm not fussed about modular/non-modular.
I'd preferably like to spend less than £80, but get the best I can - If that's possible?

Thanks for your help,

- Anthony.

That is one I've been looking at. Originally, I'd planned to get the 850W version, but thought "what's the point?".

Thanks :)

Depends how long it will be till your next upgrade. My corsair hx850 should touch wood last a couple of computer builds. 500-600 is going to bordering surely on the limit of the power supply with that kit, wouldn't it be better to go for a 850 to let it run more comfortably?

Quite possibly. I'd rather have plenty of headroom just in case, I was just thinking budget-wise what my best option would be.

If I'm safer going with more wattage, I'll hold on a little longer and stretch my funds to cover it.

All I'm thinking is in the "old" days unbranded psu's (sometimes called molex) had no wattage on them and people pushed them far beyond their limits. I don't want your system becoming damaged, better to have the extra legroom than to be squashed in economy!
