Remember the Ars system builds? I am interested to know what the overclockers Pro builders say an (1) balanced entry level gaming rig getting the most out of rtx 3070 and 3080 cards? And (2) a hot rod version?

I am talking about bang for your buck and eeking out every bit of performance from each component like a hifi! Not just picking the most expensive piece of kit and giving your hard earned cash to AMD/Intel.

Set side OS, PSU, SSD, cases, coolers for now.

I mean pairing those cards with CPU, Motherboard, Memory

Is that going to max out the usual suspects at 1080p, 1440p or 4k?

Lets take Warzone or the graphics hungry game of your choice in mind.

Should be a good read. Thanks pod. ;)

PS Any published benchmarks?

PSS I am a PC noob, aim it at intelligent 10 year olds

I'd go for this if paired with a 3070/3080 - you could get 3700X if really fancied it. But 3600 would suffice no problem.

Just posted this in someone elses thread moments ago, but works for your research.

Thanks for this. Is it diminishing returns beyond 16GB? Do you overclock the ram or is there little impact beyond 3200MHz?

Thanks for this. See my question previous post and pitch in. I assume AMD CPU comes with a good cooler. Which intel cooler do you rate?

Haha love it.

Arctic do some good value cooling such as the freezer 34 £24 , e34 sport £30 e34 sport duo £35

Quiet coolers with excellent cooling reasonable price
SCYTHE SCMG-5100 MUGEN 5 REV.B

ALPENFOHN BROCKEN 3

Both are £43

Can afford non OEM. Then get retail. Although I don't think anyone on forum or 1% of forum have had CPU fail/RMA .

Just went for low price

Shadow rock 2 is good too but more ££

Many thanks for these and I have been reading your posts in other threads.

I assume you add M2 memory.

What about memory speed any advantage to 4000mhz? Or 3200 ok or can it be overclocked?
