what would benifit me more?

i currently have a gtx 570 1.2 and a corsair tx 750 w psu,
would it be better for me to get another 570 and new psu or a 580 1.5/3?
only got 1 screen at 1080. rest of set up in sig

SLI 570's should beat a single 580.

Lots more heat, complexity and things to go wrong though. Both would be plenty at 1080p.

that was my thinking blue, would much prefer a single gpu, but never done sli befor and unaware of any complications that come with it

In my case it was heat. My SLI 460's are great, but I had to put an aftermarket cooler on the top card before I could get the temperatures under control. Next upgrade I'll go for a single card.

Sell your 570 and buy the 580 3Gb or better still, make do and wait for 7***series.
