Was transferring my uncles pc today into a thermal take soprano tower and a new antec 430 watt neo psu. Had the system up and running fine for multiple hours, we then plug in his usb hub to the top connector about 5 seconds later system just shuts off.

Thought i might have puled a power lead out, nope everythings secure, so i take the side panel off and notice the led on the motherboard is flashing green and not staying on constantly. I immediately think the psu has croaked it so i bring it home and test it on my pc, psu is working fine, i bring it back and try again, exact same issues system refuses to boot and the led on the motherboard stays flashing green. Ive tried resetting the cmos etc no effect.

Pc is comprised of the following

asus p4p 800 x mobo
2.8ghz (non ht) p4
1 gig geil value ddr
geforce fx 5200
winfast tx expert 2000
dvd rom
dvd rw
80 gig western digital hd
320 gig western digital hd

Really frustrated by this, especially as the asus manual that came with the board has nothing on trouble shooting or hints as to wtf a flashing green led means. :(
