Ever since I've built my PC it has a habit of BSODing after a new boot (i.e. PC has been turned off for more than two hours) after which it will reboot and not do it again and the PC will be absolutely fine.
The BSOD doesn't always happen straight away, and can sometimes happen around 30 minutes or more after boot. It doesn't always happen under load, but usually, a task can cause it to happen faster.
Today, for instance, the BSOD happened with the PC in idle after about five minutes post first boot. Yesterday, the PC was on for about 15 minutes and BSODed when opening the web browser.
Sometimes after a reboot, I find that Windows has forgotten my saved username and passwords in programs such as Steam and Origin and I have to re-enter them. This is rare, but does happen.
I've ran Memtest a few times, no errors.
My OS is on an SSD and I've tried moving the SATA port but it doesn't help.
I've clean installed the OS several times but it still BSODs.
I've tried installing the OS on an HDD but the BSOD still appears.
It's not a dying CMOS as BIOS and date are never affected.
I don't really have any way of testing the PSU. Ditto for CPU.
It's not an overheating issue as CPU temps are usually ~45C. GPU ~50C.
I'm at a loss as to what's causing it. Right now, I'm strongly suspecting that it's a fault with the motherboard.
Any ideas?
