what would cause this

Hi All,
Getting weird graphics issue this evening

Any idea what is the issue,
It is a new system, couple days ago.
The gfx card is Asus Radeon RX 470 Strix Gaming OC Aura RGB 4096MB

Ho the drivers are up to date also,
Cannot run any gpu testing on it like futuremark or Heaven Benchmark 4.0, cannot even load bf4 now as they just crash the whole system forcing me to reboot each time

It could be a faulty GPU.

Have you tried reseating the card/checking the temps?

Looks like it's happening before it even getting to Windows so drivers etc is not the issue.
Looks like Vram is damaged.

Hi,

Yea removed card and checked connection and psu cable all seem fine.
Temp is at idle 24c Cannot load it now as it just crashes out, Just crashed while i was in the bios looking around.

Looks like a faulty VRAM on your GPU, I thought for a second it could be your monitor, but that wouldn't crash your system...

As arc says above reseat your card - try a different socket too

You should be able to boot with your onboard graphics, if you remove the card...

still getting the same issue in another slot.
Just moved it back again, and managed to boot fine this time.
Something is a bit off with it still
